Food Tag!

Renee at Every Pot and Pan tagged me for a Fourth of July edition of Food Tag where the blogger who’s “It” chooses recent recipes and posts from their blog and creates a holiday “menu”. For my Fourth of July menu, I chose…

FOR BREAKFAST: Two types of anti-oxidant fruit salad and strawberry mini-loaves

FOR LUNCH: “Soup & Salad” featuring warm weather pot-au-feu; tomato, strawberry & mozzarella salad; and bacon, egg & asparagus salad

FOR A MID-AFTERNOON SNACK: Tabbouleh platter

FOR DINNER: “Nothing but meat!” featuring cola & jam spareribs; lemon caper chicken with croutons; and steak with a brandy cream sauce and Alexia fries

FOR DESSERT: What else? Red, white & blue frosted sugar cookies!

Now, I’m supposed to “tag” another ten people to be “It”, but I’m a bad blogger and posted this on the Fourth with little time for subsequent bloggers to post their “holiday menus”. So, hopefully, my menu is enough. Happy Fourth of July!

You are definitely NOT a bad blogger – you’re a VERY GOOD blogger and your menu is quite enough for me! – I can’t decide which I am going for – multiple choices I think – all SO delicious. Happy Fourth – what am I saying – I’m British!
